When we first took back a printer in part exchange for a new Mimaki we weren’t quite sure of the best way to deal with it. We took the view that if we refurbish it, get it looking and working like a new printer and offer a guarantee, we could probably get a fair price, while still giving customers a bargain.
As it has turned out, used and refurbished equipment has ultimately turned out to be a good contributor to our overall growth. We have now sold over 30 second hand printers and have lots of happy customers as a result. Our refurbished printers can still do a great job for people, and with budgets the way they are right now, saving money on the cost of a printer is an attractive proposition for a lot of people.
